Week 3

I have explored Fliker and have opened an account and placed a photo, yah! While looking as the "mash-ups", I stumbled into smilebox and created a scrapbook with some photos from Easter 2008. I wanted to do something with them to share with family, and now thanks to Web 2.0, it's done!

  1. A lot can be done with Web2.0 tools to share in ways that simply haven't been possible in the past. Did you get a chance to check out Big Huge Labs? There are lots of great mashups there. I am particularly fond of the trading cards :-)

  2. Big Huge Labs is wonderful! I used it a lot last year with my 3rd-4th grade students in biography units. I find that I use Web 2.0 tools more frequently than in the past simply because the projects are web based therefore is easily accessible to the students. Projects can be worked from home without having to worry about which computer/software they have. Google Docs is another favorite collaborative Web tool of mine.
